Absolutely. I hate that!

Y'know, when I first started here, back in 2016, I got hit by a lot of those follow-for-follow folks. They're mainly self-help, marketing/affiliate, or tech/developer folks. But, a lot of them seemed to be using the platform like it was a dating app or something. When I say "I got hit," I mean "hit on."

As I'm sure you've noticed, much of my writing talks about my blissfully married state. So… why do these guys even bother? And those other folks just never bothered to read my posts. It was very frustrating. I ended up winnowing a lot of my followers.
