Absolutely these no-knock warrants should end. They should be outlawed because they are unconstitutional, first and foremost. Second: They also look very much like an institutionalized fear campaign against POC, as the overwhelming majority of suspects against whom it is used are POC. Third: These kinds of warrants are a demonstration of the militirization of our police forces, driving a further wedge between serving officers and the communities they are supposed to be serving.
