Ads are a terrible idea. I did the AdSense thing once upon a time. I never broke the $100 dollar threshold – not in three years – even though I had over 70K reads. And, because I never broke $100, what pittance I did earn was never paid out and remains in the hands of AdSense to this date.

The premium tier might make more sense, especially if there was a standard of quality included.
