Again, you presume the fault is in my writing. You take it upon yourself to tell me to change my themes and topics – to NOT be the writer I am.
As for your jab "the best writing comes from the heart" – well, I don't know any other way to write. I know my forte and it's not satire. It is writing straight from my soul, whether it's my writer-activism or poetry or fiction.
I can do little about an algorithm which seems to revel in outrage than hope and love – the mainstay themes of my writing.
I also do not appreciate your condescension toward me. I'm not your "tiger" and yes, I'll get defensive with any man telling me that my experience is not real. Ask yourself, before you again tell a woman she's being hysterical, why YOU think you have the right to discount anyone's experience?
Please do not respond to me again. I don't need your male perspective on a rare complaint I made to a fellow writing friend. You've offered nothing except to discount my experience. Please go away.
