As do all creatures raised by their progenitors and peers, from squirrels to lions to elephants to whales to birds, etc. et al. Have you ever raised animals, like horses or lambs, or pets? If so, and you watched closely, you would have seen that animals school their young in all the ways those young need to conform to the group and to the environment. The skills to survive in the wild are not entirely instinctual; otherwise, there would not be cases of juvenile wild animals rescued by humans who then cannot be rehomed in the wild and survive.
