Because what those of immature divine relationship do not understand is that God is within, acting and loving us to reflect God's love, justice, and mercy into the world. That is what I believe it means to be "created in the image of God." It's easy to say, "it's God's will" – it's lazy too. It's no different than trying to excuse or get out of consequences by saying "the devil made me do it."

Someone chose to kill. Someone chose to make that gun accessible to the killer – and they chose and still choose to claim nothing can be done, and choose to do nothing. Someone chose to promote guns for their own greed and to lobby that nothing can be done.
