But, it can be a problem for developing teeth of infants and toddlers. My nephew was given a constant flow of soda in his sippy cup. His front baby teeth were destroyed and had to be pulled by the time he was three. According to the dentist, it was because of him sucking soda past those front teeth all the time. Fortunately for him, his permanent teeth came in when he was between seven and nine; and they were okay.
