For me, tabacco smoke is one of the triggers for asthmatic episodes. It was for my youngest sister as well. It's also the reason my father quit smoking tobacco – the doctor told him he was killing his kids. Unfortunately, he took up chewing tobacco. No that stuff is all kinds of nasty!

In my case, I just have to not go where people smoke. These days, that's easier as people can't smoke just anywhere. It used to be incredibly restrictive on my own socializing.
