• God will only issue work orders that must be executed in the spirit of love.

• God will never ask for a favor that might put another human in jeopardy.

• God will never make demands that in any way bring ethics into question.

• God will never cause anyone to compromise their integrity.

I'm not entirely sure where I learned the same lessons, but beliving that way made me the odd duck among my fundamentalist evangelical kin.
