He does. The only reason he didn't take Gizmo with him when he got his own place was, I think, because of me. I'm practically homebound and Gizmo is my little companion. I'd be completely alone all the time without him.

It probably also didn't help that pet rent is a thing now. You can't just pay a deposit. Now you have to pay a pet deposit AND pet rent added to your basic deposit and rent.
