I agree. I grew up experiencing multiple denominations of Pentecostal fundamentalism. Most of those denominations actually said psychiatry and psychology are "of the devil" or evil – and that "mental problems" were a matter of "getting right with the Lord."

How do you go about "getting right with the Lord?" You have the devil prayed out of you in the middle of a prayer circle, with laying on of hands and annointing with sacred oil.

Does anyone really think such impositon of ritual isn't in their long term expectations?
