I agree it doesn't matter at this point with these two particular women. I believe the larger trend does matter – the trend that gave us Ben Carson, Diamond and Silk, Kanye, Herschel Walker, etc. I think it matters because something is broken in their self-image that twisted itself to such an adversarial corruption toward their own ethnic and racial identity. Something in their upbringing and their lives made them what they became. I think we need to try to understand that aspect so we can help the next generations avoid such twisted ingrained racist self-hatred.
