I agree it is wrongheaded and, IME, meanspirited. IDK what happens to people as the get old. They never seem to remember they're own oldster generation said the same things about them. And, they grew up to become the very oldsters the pushed back on in their own youths. The truth is that every older generation looks at the youth generation and says that. Oldsters always seem to think young people are getting it wrong. Oldsters hate change and young people are all about change.

We all get older. But, I hope I never get to be an oldster.
