I agree that no one should get a free pass on cultural appropriation. And, butt-hurt white identity pains in the arse lack all consideration or acknowledgment for the cultures they skim from in their never-ending trend-chasing.

I would point out, though, that you (and all of us) benefit from an uncountable measure of white cultures from the UK to Europe to Russia. Perhaps you're not as steeped in those cultural traditions as the North American Continent nations. However, the daily lives of people across the globe rely upon cultural and sociological ideals founded in the UK and Europe and Russia.

When cultures meet, there will be sharing of ideals and traditions. Unfortunately, white cultures too often impose ideals rather than share and take rather than honor other traditions.
