I am still a devout Christian. But, I agree that religion is nota guarantee of morality. After all, religion is not God nor Jesus. Religion is man's attempt to contain God and control the narrative for power in the world.

I think Jesus would be appalled by all the organized religion in His name. Jesus never told anyone to start a religion. He told us to love everyone.
