I believe that too. IME, it comes down to people who are not waving their church flag to prove their religiosity. As with those calls for Christians to stand up and work for the things Jesus taught – a more just and equitable socieity – I think Christ-centered people of faith just have alwasy been right there shoulder to shoulder with everyone working for those things. We just get on with doing it without the need to wave our I'm-a-Christian-because-I-say-so flag. We do it because it's the right thing to do to contribute something to making our corner of the world a better place. We do it because we are trying to live our lives as reflections of the image of God. We write for the same reasons.
