I believe we are created in the image of God who is love. I do not think that means in God's likeness. I think it means in the ancient tradition of created to be God's representatives, to speak with the authority of God's Voice. The authority of God's Voice is agape love – unconditional and all encompassing love. That, I believe, is the revelation of the true nature of God who is love. We should all be living reflections of the image of God who is love.

If you do not reflect agape love into the world, your claim of belief is suspect, to me. You don't have to believe to reflect agape love into the world. But, how can someone lost in hate claim to be living in the image of God who is love?
