I couldn't comment on if a Chromebook is the issue. I'm on an iMac Pro. The algorithm will catch it if an image is not credit. I was warned early on, when I tried to push a post to a publication, that might suppress the circulation of your post. I always embed credits in my images – because provenance matters. The image I was warned about had an embedded credit, but I was warned that didn't matter because the algorithm can't detect it – and that the pub would not accept my post without the correctly formatted credit/provenance.
