I fully believe they're throttling earnings, and not just for the top writers. I've seen weird curbs in my own earnings too. For instance, I got a boost recently and that earned okay. But, the rest of my posts at the time and since haven't done as well as before that boost. It seems to be a pattern. Of course, I only have five boosts total since the program's inception, which isn't a particularly effective quantifiable test size.

I also never got a top writer nod. And, I've been here since 2016. I don't think Medium likes me very much. That’s okay. I don’t write for them.
