I get these folks all the time. I rarely follow someone just because they followed me. I never follow someone with no body of work. I don't care about followers. I care about what I choose to read.

I will read some pretty poorly written stuff if I find the author earnest and truthful on a theme which interests me. I won't try to offer writing corrections to them. However, I may – and often do – offer editorial advice to them, like investing in a Little, Brown Grammar Book, and resources like a dictionary, thesaurus, etc.
