I have a review Amazon refuses to take down because it's a verified reader. But, that "verified reader" is just anti-poetry. I checked his profile and he had lambasted every poetry book he's reviewed – all of which were KU sourced books and which he specifically said he would never have bought if it wasn't "free" with is KU subscription. Worse than the refusal to take down an obviously intentioned attack on poetry in general, Amazon came back to the rest of my reviews. Where they saw the review was from an author whom I was following and who was following me, and who I also reviewed, Amazon took down every single one of those mostly five star detailed reviews. When I asked why, they said the reviews were "author exchanges" which were prohibited.
Moronic! Who reads? Writers read! How can you penalize us for reading each other!?
