I have my own little office at the back of our small house. I have a corner desk with my iMac sitting on it. I'm longing for a drafting/art desk in the corner next to the window – it has southern exposure! But for now, my little office is my secluded place for writing. I start most mornings around 7am.

It's just me and my husband now at home. He gets home from work around 2pm or so. But, he takes advantage of me being in my little office to watch every European soccer game on TV. So, I've got all the seclusion I need until I wrap up around 4pm or son.

And, I do mean EVERY game. His favorites are Bundesliga and Barclays. Currently, he's deep into the women's FIFA World Cup. He records them all. When he runs out of those, he turns to CONCACAF. Do you have any idea how many soccer games are on TV these days? Weirdly, he always watches with the sound off – he hates the sportscasting in any language.
