I have often wondered if all those rightwing men so virulently condemning of drag performers and trans people do so because they have felt a twinge of attraction in a moment before they knew the person was trans or in drag – and feared that meant they were be corrupted to homosexuality. Because, they have been convinced it's a choice, something someone is lured and manipulated into – rather than the truth that it's the way someone is born, just someone "wonderfully made" that way.
