I have to agree. That is perhaps the best apology from a religious leader I've seen since social media became such an integral part of our human existence.

I have to ask though… is the pastor's salary changeable depending upon tithing? Shouldn't it be a predetermined and reliable – and unchanging – amount regardless of tithing? It seems to me that tying a pastor's salary to every month's changing tithes is a recipe for the very abuse he fell into.
