I loathe that thing – especially when I include a spoken word recording of my own in a post. However, my mother was visually impaired. I know she would have found it very useful. Likewise, I have a couple of writer in my writers forum group who are visually impaired and find such aids emensely beneficial.

That "Listen" bot is there for them. And I'm grateful for that. But yeah, nertz the lazy fully sighted folks relying on it. 😎 Also, I didn't even know the bot could be speed listened to. WUWT?

As for claps without commenting… Well, do you have any idea how many articles and blogs and books I read? If I commented on each one I'd never read a fraction of what I do.
