I really do not see this in Gen Z or Gen Alpha. I don't see masses of them refusing to work. I do see them refusing to be subsumed by work. I'm Gen X and my generation (and the Boomers) gave our lives to work — too many working until they died. I really think Gen Z and Gen Alpha simply see that dichotomy for the abuse it is and refuse to continue that abuse.
I know Gen Alpha is young — even the oldest are only 14. However, the older kids are already recognizing these issues and on the side of Gen Z, in my experience.
