I said it a long time ago – back when the Tea Party stormed the GOP – that after the Kochs lost in 1980 against Reagan (when one of them was the VP nominee on the libertarian ticket), they swung their attention and their billions to the GOP, including pushing Reagan in their direction. TBF, Reagan was ready and eager to go there.

By the rise of the Tea Party, the GOP platform was ENTIRELY the Koch's 1980 libertarian platform, virtually word by word.
