I shared the poems with him as I composed them. I sang the lullabies to him all during his infancy and toddlerhood. I've shared some of the poems here too. The lullabies are recorded on SoundCloud.com here:

At some point, I need to read Home for a Bunny as a recording. It was my son's favorite book and I sang part of it too. In fact, I often read that book for his neighborhood playmates too; he and they would gather on my front porch and I'd sit in my big rocker and read/sing the book to them. I also read the book for his first grade class and the same kids would ask over and over, when I was reading something else for them, if I was going to read that one again. I did read it again for them in second grade.
