I talk about my son's experience in response to writing like yours, which moves me. Responding to your experience with my perspective isn't really telling his story. It's telling my story of my love for him and my outrage seeing him targeted. I'm not sure it would be appropriate to actually publish about HIS experience; it just feels like something he should tell in his own words.

I don't believe he would do that, though. He just turned his back on it all and forged his path his way.
