I think a lot of people thought become an FOM meant they earned more by being an FOM. But, the program is more about being able to offer better support for those we read. That badge means everyone we read receives 4x the earnings for each engagement over what the star members.

The only way it pays me more is for more FOMs to read my stuff. I think that's happening. I know I'm getting more claps and highlights from more folks in general. And, I'm getting new followers whom I am sure saw my badge and followed in the hopes I'd blindly follow them back.
