I think my husband and I both missed the whole mid-life crisis thing. We didn't become parents until we were forty. We're sixty now and our son just moved out after Christmas 2022. He'll be twenty this December.

I've often wished since around 2015 that we could move to Scotland. I don't see that being a realistic possibility – unless we win the lottery.

Alas… we don't buy tickets. As the saying goes, "Ya have to be in it to win it."
