I wish people could understand this.

Black people in America generally do not trust the police. If we are routinely murdered by police, and they get away with it, how can we trust? It’s almost like every cop is incompetent. If a police officer figures that “any Black will do,” then their incompetence breaks the task of enforcing the law.

I wish people could understand this. There ample proof that for cops it's open season all the time on Black and brown bodies. They have no reason to trust cops and every reason to fear them. Why wouldn't they run from the police?
