I worked for around fifteen years as an AA and EA, plus some freelance art and design work, before working professionally in the print industry. I’m a graphic designer of more than 25 years experience in combined freelance and traditional professional settings. However in 2000, I took time off to help my husband launch his café and to raise my son, and when I was ready to go back to work, I had become disabled and was never able to get back into my career. Sadly, my husband was driven out of business in 2006 by an unscrupulous new landlord. So, we moved back to NC where my kin are to be near my Gran and grandfather, primarily so my son would have family and to get away from the frigid Missouri winters.

Currently, I am an artist and art photographer, writer-activist, poet and author, and am building my reputation little by little. My Medium account is my writer-activism blog. I have a cryptocurrency creative blog on Steemit. My primary creative writing blog is on Wordpress. All my social media is under “MomzillaNC,” my userID/pseudonym.
