I wouldn't be able to answer this question. We weren't allowed to have friends hanging around, nor to go to friends' houses. We had school friends. But, when you don't accept their party and sleepover and hangout invitations, eventually, you're relegated to a kind of distance that isn't ever going to find you a "best friend."

As for a favorite toy, I had several. But, my father was in the service. So, when we moved, toys we were deemed to have "outgrown" were tossed or given away. I did not make it to my teen years with any of my childhood toys.
