I wouldn't ever think I've made a flood of difference in a crowd of people's minds. However, I know of at least two people who changed their minds after some discussions which followed a couple of writer-activism pieces. The way I see it…to beat a metaphor to death: one mind opened lets the sun into a desolate place where something finally begins to grow.
