IDK. It does seem the doom loop is inescapable. I get that. I felt it myself for many years. I counted humanity out… wondered if we even deserved to go on.

But then, I see my son's generation — GenZ, and the next coming up behind his, GenAlpha. They are different. I feel hope in them and cannot bring myself to count them out.
