I'm of Scottish ancestry – like, far north Scottish ancestry, north of St. Andrews to Montrose Scotland, where daytime in winter is more twilight than daylight. I also am photophobic and start burning the moment I step into a typical Southern summer day of full sun, besides not being able to see. Spending an hour out there will leave me with a crippling migraine and blistered skin. I'm so pale that in the dark, my face is almost specter-like; my sister whom I shared a room with said it used to freak her out when we were kids.
