I'm so sorry this has been your experience. I lived a similar story arc. I just wish I'd walked away from them before they made my son hate them. The deepest cut for me is that my son learned to hate.

However, let us be brutally clear: "[NOTHING] good will still come out of it…" You will create good from from your own heart. Your pain is not and never should be a price for sanity or good in your life or the lives of your children. All the good in your life is created from the good in your own heart!

Please, never forget that you create good, NOT because of them – but in spite of them and their abuse.
