I'm unfamiliar with composing in Substack or Newsbreak. But, doesn't Medium's composition window appear as the post will look when finished? For example, WordPress's composition window looks more like a word processor than the final post will look; it offers a preview option for that reason. The WritersCafe composition window is similar to WordPress, but offers no preview option.
