IME, there is absolutely no difference in two men kissing versus a straight couple. As a personal preference, I'd rather not see anyone groping and climbing all over one another in public. But, kissing is sweet. It makes me smile – no matter if the couple is a straight white cis-couple, an interracial couple, or an LGBTQ couple.
Full disclosure: I've had people react poorly to my very Persian husband and my so-white-I'm-transluscent self holding hands in public. This was 30 years ago in the capital of Missouri. I even had someone tell me "If you lost a bit of weight, you could find a nice white man."
