In fact, when He had the opportunity to have done so, Christ forwent that opportunity. In the Aramaic, the terminology used for the centurian and his "servant" was actually better translated in terms of a lover. Not only did Christ decline to even address it, He praised the centurian's faith and said his "servant" was healed. The Aramaic term "entimos" which the centurian used regarding his "servant," would have been understood by that ancient audience to have meant the centurian's gay lover (or, by some interpretations, male concubine).
