In the 1970s, lacing joints with LSD was a thing in Florida. So was lacing them with cocaine. But, everyone seemed to rave about "Mary Jane's party brownies" back then. I guess my mother's penchant for disallowing us to have friends over or go to friends' houses – basically to even have friends – kept us from brushing against accidental opportunities.
