It might be the price of being reasoned and considered, kind and compassionate. Does anyone think kind people have it in them to revel in being degradingly nasty as GOP politicians do on the regular?

A more important question might be: Do we want them to be degradingly nasty?

Because, if they employ the same nastiness, how would they be any different? As I've long said, "If we're not kinder and better, then we are them."
