It's common to eat noodles here too, when you're feeling unwell – chicken noodle soup is a staple. But, doctors will tell you the best thing when you're not able to keep anything else down is the B.R.A.T. menu. That's B-bananas, R-rice, A-apples, and T-toast. The menu means whole fruit bananas, plain rice, apples or applesauce or apple juice, and plain white or wheat toast (no seeds or other grains in it). It actually works quite well. Once you're not vomiting any longer, you can move on to light chicken or vegetable broth.
