It's evil… and sad to say, the answer is "take my own life." They do not think you have the right to exist. That's the goal of all their politics of cruelty; they intend to criminalize and persecute until they erase your public existence.

It doesn't matter that the majority in general are accepting, willing to – at the very minimum – allow you to be who you are. The few who don't are the ones empowered with the political agenda. They've spent decades getting their extremists into office, and changing the system to disenfranchise voters who might oppose them, to make it nigh on impossible with gerrymandering to defeat them through simple voting.
