It's hard to tell someone to stop doing something they feel needs to be done by them or something they enjoy doing. My husband has a penchant for tinkering with cars — he's also under cars up on a jack; that worries me. The problem is that he just cannot get on the ground under them without suffering for days after. But, he also still works a job most young people cannot keep up with him on.
