It's not that she said something "at some point" that "at least one of the other 7.99 billion people doesn't like" – It's that she developed the idea, and continues to denigrate and demoralize a marginalized and much abused demographic. She doubles down, then doubles down again. She doesn't rething or evaluate the impact of her massive platform to cause harm. She continues to cause harm.

Regardless of the art she created, she cannot expect no consequences from harmful speech and behavoirs. Her art may endure. However, her clinging to a course of harm against a demographic about whom she is factually substantively proven wrong, can only diminish her legacy.

Picaso's art remains. It doesn't change the fact that he was a sadistic SOB in his monstrous treatment of women.

Cosby's massive body of work remains. But, his infamy is fact that cannot be denied.

Wood Allen's cinimatic brilliance is as undeniable as his skeezy, skin-crawling obession with teen girls.
