It's sad. But, mothers have been as excluded in as many countless ways in our modern generations. Stay-at-home mothers have particularly seen this exclusion.

In today's rising anti-woman sentiment, maybe it's time to stop limiting which women we value. If a group needs a mother-centric program, let it be on a roster of programs with something catering to all our needs. Why can't there be a women's retreat like that? We gather as women for communing together between activities catering to our specific life needs. Moms are more than mothers. Women without children are more than childless women.
