I've always hated dog racing. When I was in college in Memphis, back in the 1980s, it was kind of "the thing" for the campus Greek-set to make it an outing at the dog track in Little Rock, AR. Animal cruelty has always been one thing I was never shy about speaking out on. It made me none too popular with the affluent sorority/fratenity folks.
