I've long been registered as an Independent. I vote for the candidate with the policies which most reflect "God is love" and "Be known by your love" because knowing love, we know God and may discern what is kind and compassionate in this world.

As my faith and empathy have matured, my vote consistently comes down on the side of progressives.
